Abhil Anand is a passionate filmmaker and creative professional with over a decade of experience in the Malayalam film industry. His artistic journey began in 2014 with his first drawing exhibition, Bhava Vismayam, showcasing portraits of the legendary actor Mammootty and demonstrating his early storytelling ability. Starting as a storyboard artist, Abhil meticulously translated scripts into visual narratives, producing advertising films and cinematic projects with precision and creativity.
Recognised by Mammootty for his talent, he joined the film Manglish as an Assistant Director, marking his entry into mainstream cinema. By 2018, Abhil advanced to Associate Director roles on critically acclaimed films such as Athiran, Parama Guru, and Pappan, honing his skills in team management, narrative structuring, and coordinating complex shoots. He later served as Chief Associate Director on major Malayalam and Tamil projects including Run Baby Run (Tamil), King of Kotha, Identity, and Ananthan Kadu, translating the director’s vision into executed cinematic realities.
